Friends of Christian Radio embraces a unique need. Over 1
million people in communities adjacent to the WFRN listening area do
not have the light of full family contemporary Christian radio. So,
when the opportunity came, Friends of Christian Radio made
application to the FCC for 32 FM repeater stations so they can bring
WFRN to these needy communities.
Since the founding of Friends of Christian Radio in 1994, ten
repeater stations have been placed on the air. The remaining
applications have yet to receive final approval from the FCC.
To "Spread the Light" of
full family Christian contemporary radio to needy communities in
Indiana and Michigan
To "Turn the Lights On" in needy neighboring
communities by building 32 FM Repeater stations to reach over 1
million people who do not have Christian radio for the full
family.
